Sentences for some sex offenders defy reason (Op Ed)

It’s important to be tough on crime. We must protect society, especially our children, from criminals whose past behaviors have clearly proven them to be dangerous predators. But sometimes we go overboard when the law creates more unnecessary suffering than it prevents. Full Op-Ed

why is it that some people down load this crap? when they know cops are sitting around pulling there junk” waiting for someone to down load. I don’t care what people look at on the stupid net , I guess there is that thing if you buying it , you could by proxy be creating the need for people to maybe make more of it , but I have no facts on that , but what I do see is that there are many people looking at this so called crime and saying ,, well maybe these guys should not have to Reg” and I say Stop right there! hold the phone ! all of the Reg is wrong ! I don’t care what anyone one did ! there is no reason to plaster our faces all over the net. so some freaked out or just plain violent person , to find a reason to kill us or our family ! its one thing if the cops know where I am , and I don’t like that much after this many years , and to just keep stacking law after law , it don’t even matter that we made a Deal With The Court under not only those laws but a stacked deck as well , we should not have to pay for crimes that other people did years later , and now its all about Thought crime , not much different than Intent , I do feel bad for this guy , and many other , I am sorry I guess I am just having a bad day , its just that sometimes I feel as if many of us that had worse crimes will just wind up throne under the bus , like has been for so many years , I know some feel what I am sayin , hang tight brothers and sisters ,

This is great article this guy is a ex police chief talking like this.
